Partner Business Exchange

The Partner Business Exchange (PBX) is a hosted monthly dialogue designed to identify and overcome systemic challenges associated with Forest Service (FS) business processes. Knowing that these issues affect partner-agency relations, Resource Program Directors, Acquisition Management (Contracts, Grants & Agreements) and the Albuquerque Service Center actively engage in joint problem-solving and training to improve partner-agency efficiencies and overall project accomplishment.

What We Do

  1. Collaboratively identify and resolve issues associated with Forest Service business practices
  2. Explore streamlined and partner-friendly business models that will expand capacity and effectiveness with external organizations
  3. Share and communicate solutions

The strength of the PBX lies in the commitment and active participation of key FS Directors who have the authority and responsibility to make decisions, collaborate on integrated solutions, and actively communicate with their networks to bring issues forward, as well as communicate solutions.
